Position Highlights
- Per diem coverage: 4–6 shifts per month
- 8- hour shifts; weekends required
- Clinic volume averages 120 patients per day
- Hourly rate: $160/hour plus productivity
- Malpractice coverage provided
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, treat, and triage patients requiring urgent or higher-level care
- Perform minor procedures including suturing, I&D, foreign body removal, splinting, sprains, minor burns, and fractures
- Communicate clearly with patients and families regarding treatment and follow-up
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team caring for adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients
Qualifications
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine (other specialties considered)
Eligible for or licensed in California
ACLS required; PALS preferred
