Job Summary
Interventional Spine Physician apart of a multidisciplinary team demonstrating expertise in interventional techniques and a passion for improving patients' quality of life through innovative treatments
Duties
- Physicianshall serve and practice medicine as an Pain Management Physician and provide such other services reasonably associatedwith the interventional spine practice, as determinedby Companyin its sole discretion, in the manner and to the extent permittedby the Georgia Medical Practice Act and all the applicable canons of professional ethics as from time to time amended.
- Creating, keeping and maintaining (or causing to be kept and maintained) all appropriate records, as determined solely by Company, relating to all professional services rendered by Physician
- Preparing and attending to, in connection with such services, all reports, claims, and correspondences deemed necessary or appropriate by Company in the circumstances, all of which shall belong to Company
- Attending professional conventions and post-graduate seminars and participating in professional associations so far as is reasonable and practical
- Performing all things reasonably desirable to maintain and improve Physician’s professional skills
- Supporting marketing efforts to build Physician’s practice volume
- Serving in any such other capacity as Company may hereafter from time to time determine
- Sharing on-call duty equally with Company Physicians or with other designated physicians, designated physician assistants or nurse practitioners according to Company’s designated on-call schedule
- Exercise independent professional judgment in the care and treatment of all patients attended by Physician and in the determination of their appropriate medical care.
- Physician is expected to exercise independent professional judgment with respect to the patient care rendered, and Physician shall exercise final authority over all medical decisions in the care and treatment of patients by Physician.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, pain management specialists, and surgeons, to create individualized treatment plans
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment options, risks, and benefits.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Neurology, or Neurosurgery.
- 5+ years of experience
- GA and DEA license
- Proven experience performing interventional spine procedures with proficiency
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management strategies related to spinal disorders.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as CareCloud or similar platforms for documentation and patient record management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about complex treatment options including interventional radiology procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient settings.
